Compose a song individually or in a group, learn to arrange the song and then record the song with pro audio gear.

 

 

 

Build a cajon (box drum) and learn to play

 

Get the sounds of a drum kit packed into a timber box. Used by musicians throughout the world to produce great organic percussion tones. Participants build their own drum and learn to play rhythms together as a group.

 

2 – 4 hour workshops groups of 20 participants

 

 

Build an electric Ukulele

 

An amazing sounding electric ukulele made in 1 day from very basic and raw materials.

Uses new and recycled materials from garden wire and nuts and bolts to pine and wing nuts.

Participants use cordless drills, hammers, soldering iron, wood rasps and saws. Learn how to repair and maintain your instrument.

 

4-5 hour workshop, groups of 15 participants

 

 

Music Technology

 

Without a professional recording a song cannot be shared with the world. It takes particular skills & dedication to tune your ears to the right frequencies when it comes to mixing and producing music.

 

Participants are guided through a myriad of sound production techniques, from live mixing to studio recording.

We will show you the tricks of the trade, currently being used by the pro’s around the world.

 

1-4 hour workshops, groups of up to 25 participants

 

 

 

Music Career seminar

An opportunity to talk to working musicians about how to make a living in the music industry. It is not necessary to be famous or make millions of dollars, you can develop a trade in the music industry that will pay you a good income and provide a great, exiting lifestyle.
